Types of Exterior Paint
There are three common types of exterior paint to choose from. We’ll work with you during the design phase to ensure you get the one that’s going to give you the results you want.
Flat Finish – Flat paint finish is the most porous of the three and does not reflect light. It’s ideal for painting older houses and can hide many flaws and imperfections.
Satin Finish – Satin paint finish is the most popular among homeowners. It’s neither dull nor shiny and has a subtle sheen. It’s easy to maintain and keep clean with regular pressure washing.
Gloss Finish – Gloss paint finish is the toughest and easiest to clean. It’s used sparingly because too much makes your home look plastic. It’s good on doors, door frames, windows frames, handrails, and outdoor furniture.
